Background
We recently finished a rebuild of a customer’s conservatory from the dwarf walls up, complete with a SupaLite tiled conservatory roof. This customer contacted us because their current conservatory was too cold and damp to use in winter, meaning they got very little use from it. He also felt that the low ceiling made the space feel small and enclosed.
After a lot of research, they decided to install a SupaLite tiled conservatory roof. A SupaLite roof provides the best insulation for your conservatory, with an incredible U-value of 0.15. That means that it keeps heat in during winter and out in summer, so you can enjoy your conservatory all year round.
When our customer Adrian got in touch for a quote, one of our friendly installers went round to help him find exactly what he needed. We discovered that the old windows and doors were letting considerable heat out and told Adrian that these would need replacing with new, thermally efficient windows. This would also allow us to rebuild and give him the extra height he wanted. He agreed and we started work.

Project Overview
We began our rebuild by knocking the existing conservatory frame down, without damaging the walls. Then, we reconstructed the UPVC frame, using double glazed windows and doors to ensure they were as energy efficient as possible.We rebuilt the conservatory higher up to give Adrian the extra headroom he wanted.
We then installed the SupaLite tiled conservatory roof, using a tile that matched the rest of his house. As you can see from the installation pictures, a SupaLite tiled conservatory roof includes several layers of lightweight insulation. This keeps the conservatory nice and cosy in winter, and fresh and cool in summer. It’s the perfect solution to get more use out of your conservatory!
Once the roof was installed, we set to work on the interior. Our professional plasterer created a beautiful, smooth vaulted ceiling, which really maximised space. We also installed dimmable spotlights, perfect for entertaining guests late into the night.
Adrian came to us wanting to reclaim this space that he got very little use out of. By the end of our rebuild, he was left with a spacious, warm conservatory which he could use as a second living room. He was so happy with the results he’s recommended us to friends and family!

This customer had a small, cold conservatory which they found hard to use. After installing a gable end tiled conservatory roof, they have a large, warm conservatory which they can finally enjoy all year round.
