Background
Terry Betteridge from Gloucester got in touch with us because he wanted to transform his conservatory into a room he could use all year round, like an extension.
The conservatory had a polycarbonate roof, which led to heat loss in winter, making the conservatory too cold to use. They also suffered from problems like mould, as the conservatory roof aged and started letting moisture in.
After some consideration, Terry decided to install a tiled conservatory roof. A SupaLite tiled conservatory roof has excellent insulation, keeping conservatories warm in winter and cool in summer. They found us as their local, SupaLite-approved installers and requested a quote.

Project Overview
Terry wanted his conservatory to feel more like an extension, so it was important that we got the look right. He chose a Extralight tiles in the colour charcoal, which was in-keeping with the rest of the property. Inside, we expertly plastered the roof and installed spotlights.
This made it feel like any other room in the home – just what they wanted! By completion, it was ready to use! There was no need to hire other companies to plaster or do the electrics; our team do everything! Now Terry has a beautiful, warm conservatory that he can use all year round.

Previously, Terry’s conservatory had been too cold to use in winter. Now, they have a warm, cosy conservatory that they enjoy all year round. It has been styled to blend in with the rest of the property and gives them the extension-feel they were looking for.
